Bletchley Park, Milton Keynes

King Shaw provided Building services engineering to the Bletchley Park Trust which was awarded a Heritage Lottery Funding Grant to carry out the restoration of the existing buildings. The project involved a complete restoration of a number of existing listed buildings, including a steel frame and brickwork building and some of the famous 1940s code breaking timber frame huts.

The main building was converted into a exhibition area complete with offices, learning space and café facilities. The huts are now returned to their former glory but with the installation of modern services.

King Shaw Associates worked closely with the other team members to establish period fixtures and fittings and servicing methods that can comply with current regulations and standards.
